Based on his history as a “habitual felon,” prosecutors asked the judge to deny bond for Caballero on the recent robbery case in Katy. It’s not clear if he had been arrested in that case. The judge(s) that let this piece of crap out repeatedly, need to be voted out of office. The takeaway from this incident, for every officer on the streets in America, is to now expect that EVERY encounter you have with anyone could turn deadly in seconds. The game has changed for LE everywhere. For a hundred bucks in a back alley or on the dark web, you can buy a plastic adapter to turn any Glock into a machine gun pistol firing 100 rounds per second. Your only defense is to always have good cover. Be constantly thinking, if this guy opens-up, where can I go to be safe and return fire. I thank our Heavenly Father for watching over these officers yesterday and know they are going home to their families. Finally, watch these videos and learn from them.
