2007 The Age of Red & Yellow & Pass-off of Power Vic Maceo was the Chief of the Galveston Island Beach Patrol from 1983-2007, which included an impressive 12-year run of no beach-related deaths by drowning in a guarded area. In 2007, Vic Maceo retired, passing the torch to Chief Peter Davis.
