When theofficer asked if he was with theMuskego Department of PublicWorks, Glembin responded, “I’moff duty right now. I’m with BorderPatrol.”The officer observed thatGlembin was dressed in a blackhat with “CBP” stitched in yellow,a green duty vest over ablack jacket and khaki pants.64 The BLUES - MARCH ‘25He also reportedly presentedan ID card reading “Departmentof Homeland Security” with hisimage. Despite being told publicworks would handle the situation,Glembin moved the deerinto a ditch “unprompted.”An investigation determinedthat his uniform did not matchofficial U.S. Border Patrol attire.Days later, on January 29,Glembin approached a New Berlinpolice officer during a trafficstop, again dressed in the sameuniform. According to the complaint,Glembin told the officerhe had just “gotten off duty” andoffered to help. As he walkedaway, the officer noted the words“Border Patrol Unit” on the backof his vest.New Berlin police consultedwith a U.S. Customs and BorderProtection special agent, whoconfirmed that Glembin wasnot a federal agent and that the

agency was aware of his impersonation.Later that evening, Glembin wastaken into custody. Investigatorsdetermined all his gear wasfraudulent. While in custody, headmitted he was not a Border Patrolagent but claimed he wantedto become one. He also acknowledgedapproaching both officersin Muskego and New Berlin whilewearing a fake uniform and displayingfalse credentials.Prosecutors further noted thatGlembin’s clothing featured multiplefraudulent identifiers, including“DHS, CBP-BPA and Agent H.D.Glembin.” Additionally, he carrieda handcuff case and a gun, which“appeared legitimate,” along witha white light mounted on oneshoulder and a red light on theother.Glembin is scheduled for ahearing on February 13 and wasissued a ,000 signature bondby the court, according to courtrecords.Delivered to yourinbox every month.CLICK HERE FOR YOURFREE SUBSCRIPTIONThe BLUES - MARCH ‘25 65
