A Group of Truly Inspiring Women pected. Their tenacity and commitment to those who are survivors is in fact immeasurable. They are amazing, truly beautiful people who’ve lost so much and yet refuse to let the pain and grief stop them from helping others. Inspirational doesn’t even begin to adequately describe what these amazing people do each and every day. The Houston Chapter of COPS is one that I have come to know personally. The men and women here are without a doubt some of the strongest, most resilient human beings I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Year after year, as Officers in the Houston area are tragically taken from us, the COPS Team is there to support the family and walk them through the process. No one is ever really prepared to bury a loved one, especially a law enforcement officer, but these loving souls from COPS step in and assist the family in every way possible. In a way they are all part of a large family that no one asked or wanted to be a part of. I’ll close with this.
